足球小将(Captain Tsubasa) 5/10

I watched this anime when I was seven and I still I remember how much I hated it. The plot is about this ELEMENTARY school soccer team (OK the second half is about their junior high life but who gives a @$#). Soccer is a good sports but why elementary school kids? If you want to make a sports-genre anime about passion and dreams and all that stuff, elementary kids are not the way to go, trust me. This naturally leads to horrible characters since they are a bunch of brats anyways. The show litera…lly turned the soccer field into a drama stage, where you constantly see two people arguing about their worldviews and solving each other’s life problems during a soccer game. Of course, the worst doesn’t come until the last game when the antagonist kicked the soccer ball straight into the protagonist’s belly in order to wake him up. He was actually aiming for the goal but then he changed him mind, turned 90 degrees to the right, and then aimed for the progatonist. Awful awful show. Not even funny.
