I’m going to try a new format in terms of watching animes. It’s called “dropping-animes-when-I-know-for-certain-they-are-pure-crap”. Before I was like “yeah, I know it’s crap but I have to watch at least a third of it to know for certain”. Well fuck that, shitty animes are shitty from the start, and I’ve never seen a single anime recovering from a shitty start. Remind you I’m talking about pure shit. It’s not like some of the good animes which don’t have a really brilliant start (eg. the Phantom anime I’m currently watching may well be one of them). Pure shit means there is absolutely nothing to like about. There is no potential. There is nothing that tells me that:”look, everything else may be crap but at least there is this thing that might evolve into something worth watching.” What this means is that from now on you are going to see me dropping a 24-ep animes not after ep8 but after ep2-3.
What this also means is that I dropped Asura Cryin’ after ep3, or ep 2 since I was basically doing other things when I played ep3 on my laptop. Here is another fine example of cramming too many thing together. Fanservice, school life, mecha, ghost, mystery that no one cares about and so on, none of them are even introduced properly. I mean, if you don’t even want to spend some time properly set up the story, then I won’t waste my time watching it. 5/10.
